"The humanitarian data system was built for organisations. We built it for people."

Every year, millions of people navigating displacement, crisis, and poverty are registered, re-registered, and re-registered again — with no record that follows them, no say in how their data is used, and no identity that persists.

The Platform

Meet Granite

Granite is OEG's humanitarian data platform — a shared infrastructure that gives individuals ownership of their identity and organisations a single, interoperable system for service delivery.

For People

Your identity, permanently yours.

A unique OEG identifier (UBID) follows you across borders, organisations, and time. You decide who sees what, withdraw consent at any time, and export your full record in one tap.

  • Portable UBID — OEG-{COUNTRY}-{YEAR}
  • Consent-gated data sharing
  • Emergency contact registry
  • Offline-first mobile app
For Organisations

One system. Every partner.

Eliminate duplicate registrations across your network. Access real-time beneficiary records (with consent), issue referrals between organisations, and understand your population at aggregate scale.

  • Shared CRM / registration layer
  • Cross-org referral management
  • Consent audit trail
  • Aggregate analytics dashboard
For the Sector

Data that serves humanity.

OEG+, our AI layer, synthesises ReliefWeb, ACLED, UNHCR, and DTM data in real time — surfacing situation reports, conflict dynamics, and displacement trends in plain language.

  • Live ACLED conflict intelligence
  • DTM displacement tracking
  • UNHCR population data
  • Natural language query (OEG+)
Architecture

The Granite Stack

Six integrated layers. One cube. Each face is a component of the Granite platform — rotate to explore.

Granite Registry
Single source of truth. Deduplicated, consent-aware beneficiary records.
OEG+
AI layer. Natural language queries over live humanitarian datasets.
Granite App
Mobile-first. iOS & Android. Offline-ready. For people in need.
InterOp Gateway
Connects Granite to existing IMS systems via open APIs.
OEG SaaS
Web dashboard for organisations. Referrals, registrations, consent.
Control Room
Executive analytics. Population maps, aid gaps, real-time intelligence.
How it works

From registration to empowerment

01
Register once.
A field worker or the individual registers using the Granite App or OEG SaaS. A UBID is generated — a permanent, portable identifier in the format OEG-{COUNTRY}-{YEAR}-{8CHAR}.
02
Own your record.
The individual downloads the Granite app, claims their UBID, and sets consent preferences. They decide which organisations can access which fields of their profile.
03
Access services, get referred.
Organisations query the shared registry (with consent), find the individual’s profile, and issue referrals across the network — no re-registration, no data loss.
04
Data works for you.
Aggregate, anonymised data flows to the Control Room and OEG+ — informing aid allocation, surfacing gaps, and helping organisations respond faster.
